Pictured with Most Rev William Crean, the Bishop of Cloyne, are members of religious of the Diocese from the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy, Presentation Sisters, the Sisters of Bon Secours, Poor Servants of the Mother of God, Missionaries of Charity and the Congregation of the Adorers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Montmartre; Fr Sean Cotter PE, Episcopal Vicar for Religious, Fr Eamonn McCarthy, co-ordinator for Jubilee celebrations for the Diocese, Fr Tom McDermott ADM and Parish Clergy were also in attendance. Among other religious who also serve in the diocese of Cloyne are the Sisters of Nazareth, and the Servant Sisters and Brothers of the Home of the Mother.
Beautifully accompanied by Dominic Finn and the Choir of Cobh Cathedral, the liturgy gave thanks for the wonderful witness of our religious and their gentle yet efficacious presence among us as witnesses of hope.
