Ordination to the Episcopate of Monsignor Michael F. Crotty

With great joy, the Diocese of Cloyne announces that the Ordination to the Episcopate of Monsignor Michael F. Crotty, a priest of the Diocese of Cloyne, will take place in St Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh, on 15 August next, Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The ceremony takes place in the context of the Coronavirus restrictions that are place at the moment, and it is with regret that participation in the ceremony will be greatly limited. We are conscious that it will not be possible to accommodate in the Cathedral all those who wish to attend and we invite them to unite themselves in spiritual communion via means of the livestream broadcast of the ceremony which will be available at www.cobhcathedralparish.ie at 2:30 p.m. on 15 August next.
