Annual Collections in 2017 will take place on the following dates:
Emigrants : Friday, 17th March
Holy Places : Good Friday, 14th April
World Meeting of Families : Saturday/Sunday 22nd / 23rd April
Episcopal Conference : Saturday/Sunday, 20th / 21st May
Retired Priests : Saturday/Sunday, 17th / 18th June
Peter’s Pence : Saturday/Sunday, 15th / 16th July
Education of Seminarians : Saturday/Sunday, 16th / 17th September
Mission Sunday : Saturday/Sunday, 21st / 22nd October
Social and Family Services : Saturday/Sunday, 18th / 19th November
The Diocesan Purposes collection is taken up on the first weekend of every month the proceeds are then forwarded to the Diocesan Office quarterly.
Retired Priests Collection goes directly to the treasurer of the Cloyne Sick Priests Benevolent Fund (Canon Michael Leamy, Main Street, Rathcormac, Co. Cork) who will dispense the proceeds to retired priests.
