Bishop William Crean presented The Bene Merenti medals to Nellie Cotter and Tom Cotter of Rathcormac/Bartlemy Parish, Cloyne Diocese, in the presence of Canon MI. Leamy P.P. and Rev Neilus O’Donnell (retired P.P.) at St Bartholmew’s Church, Bartlemy, Rathcormac, Co. Cork. Neillie has been selling The Irish Catholic all her life in Bartlemy and Tom has recently retired as sacristan at Bartlemy at 91 years of age.
Bishop Crean also presented The Bene Merenti medal to Teresa Howard of Rathcormac parish in the presence of Canon MI. Leamy P.P. and Rev Neilus O’Donnell (retired P.P.) in a ceremony at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rathcormac, Co. Cork on May 22nd 2016.
