Confirmation Retreats in Mallow
Over the last couple of weeks, Mallow Parish Youth Ministry was extremely busy
delivering Confirmation retreats to the local schools in Mallow – St Pat’s NS,
Scoil Ghobnatan, Mallow Convent Primary School, Rahan NS and Gaelscoil Mallow.
The young people had a chance to explore the meaning of Confirmation in a
different way through worksheets, teamwork and song as well as exploring their
gifts and talents. We were delighted that Fr Andrew, Fr Lynch, Fr Lane &
Msgr. O’Brien were able to come to offer Mass on the different days. The
retreats were delivered by Mallow Parish Youth Ministry, Bernadette O’Connor
and her team as well as the Pope John Paul II Award students from the
Patrician Academy.
