Current Flu Epidemic
Bishop William Crean, Bishop of Cloyne has recommended to all priests celebrating public Masses to defer from the invitation to share a “Sign of Peace” until such time as the flu crisis has abated. Also, to take whatever additional preventative measures that are deemed prudent.
He advises all those who are at risk of contracting the flu to absent themselves from Mass until it is safe to do so.
