God our Father, in the life of Blessed Dominic Collins, you have given us a wonderful example of courage under persecution, of faithfulness to the Gospel, and of loyalty to the Church.
He laid down his life for the right of all people to live and worship in accordance with their consciences. He died with forgiveness in his heart for those who had injured him or who differed from him in any way. Through his intercession, may we be strengthened to act according to our own beliefs and to respect the beliefs of others.
