CLOYNE DIOCESAN CHANGES (clergy appointments)
To take effect from 9th July 2016
Most Rev. William Crean has accepted the resignation from office of Rt. Rev. Msgr. Eamon Goold, P.P., V.G., Midleton to come into effect on July 9th. He is to continue to serve as Vicar General of the Diocese.
Bishop Crean has made the following appointments in the Diocese of Cloyne with effect from July 9th:
V. Rev. William Bermingham, P.P. Blarney to Sabbatical Studies
V. Rev. Michael Fitzgerald, P.P. Buttevant to be P.P. Blarney
V. Rev. Eugene Baker returning from Sabbatical Studies to be P.P. Buttevant
V. Rev. John Ryan, P.P., P.E. Aghinagh to be C.C. Midleton
Rev. Jim Killeen, C.C. Midleton to be P.P. Midleton and Vicar Forane for
Midleton Deanery
V. Rev. Canon Donal Roberts, P.P. V.F. to continue as Administrator of Aghinagh Parish
Rev. Gerard Cremin, C.C., Midleton to further study.
